Trusting in the Guidance You Receive When You Meditate

ree

If you happen to have a meditation routine already established, realize that you have a significant advantage. Many people may go through life on autopilot, never truly taking the time to stop and listen to the inner guidance and wisdom from within. So if you are already meditating regularly, or at least finding time to quiet your mind, recognize the significant blessing that you have given yourself. When you allow yourself times throughout your day and week to slow down for a bit, this is what allows an opportunity to connect with the divine. And if you haven’t established a routine yet, it’s always possible to begin. Even just five or ten minutes of uninterrupted silence out in nature or listening to a brief guided meditation could be a great place to start.

When you meditate, you’re giving yourself an opportunity to go into your ‘heart garden’ where all the true riches lie. The garden of peace, light, and bliss within you is always available, but you have to be intentional if you’d like to tap into it. Just taking a few moments of silent, light-filled breaths, you will be more centered and feel more balanced, coming into a deeper place of peace within yourself. From this place of stillness, at times you may choose to ask your soul for guidance, or simply just wait and listen to the whispers of your soul that may arise spontaneously. It may also be that you ask for guidance from angels, spirit guides, divine masters, or whatever other version of universal love flows to you in that particular moment.

As you sit within your heart, connecting with the source of all life, and listen for the inner wisdom that is ready to flow forth, you may consider jotting down a few notes if there are words flowing to you that may help to guide your path. It’s important to be able to trust the wisdom that flows to you in meditation, recognizing this is wisdom that came from a higher, more light-filled place. There may even be times when you are sitting in meditation, and feel an influx of light infusing into your eyes, or what may feel like the center of your head. Allow yourself to be guided by the wisdom that your heart speaks to you, and trust that this wisdom will transform itself into divinely inspired actions that you may be able to take as well.

Sometimes the guidance received may only come in fragments, such as certain perception shifts or ideas of action steps to take that may only come out as a few words at a time. Sometimes insights may also be revealed in other ways as well, such as a brief vision that comes into your mind, or a certain feeling about something. If you have a particular dream, lifestyle you’d like to create, or project you’d like to work on, realize that not everything you need to do will be revealed all at once though. You have to be patient, trusting that just like with someone who is writing a book, the steps of what you need to do in your life may not come out all at once. But just like an author who writes one page at a time, in the same way, you too may be moving toward designing the life of your dreams, one step at a time. As you allow divine wisdom to inspire you and guide you, it is only natural that more good things will flow into your life as a result!

Sending love,
